Del Rey (now called Kodansha Comics) did finally release an omnibus 3 in 1 volume comprising 33-35 and finishing the series. The rest is out of print, but the whole series is translated in english now. So go out and get it.

Wanted to say well done for explitedly stating this is a 'favourite' list, and not a 'top' list. I can't stand youtube top lists where people a.) don't give reasons for them to be great and b.) haven't experienced all the topic has to offer.

I do however think you should've planned what you were going to say in advance as in many sections you aren't really able to properly explain what made these animes so great.

And interesting list though. Not seen most of them as I'm more of a 80's/ 90's anime fan, but I do need to see Cowboy Beebop and that Trigun film you mentioned.

I remember buying the DVD when it first came out for about £16.99. Man, I was hacked off it was only about 20 minutes long. I can only fathom it was a pilot episode and, after they (I think Project IG, the GitS creators) must've realised it was pretty shit also.
